I would strongly recommend BlueStar for anyone considering installing new or upgrading their Heating & Air Conditioning System. We had two systems installed, and both were installed on time and have been operating without any problems since they were installed. Danny has come to my house on two seperate occasions for two different reasons. He's always been so friendly and informative. He even went above and beyond his duties to discuss other concerns I had regarding our AC unit even though he was there to work on our water heater. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and even told me not to waste my money on certain services as they would not improve the efficiency of our system. Avoiding wasteful expenses is something I REALLY appreciated!!! He was honest and straight foward. Just what I needed. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the DC Metro Area. BlueStar Air has set a foot print in the sands of professionalism, quality and marksmanship. The technicians who came out to my property were accurate, detailed and knowledgeable of Hvac systems. Danny was wonderful to work with! Our 30+ year old A/C was broken. I interviewed more than 5 different HVAC service contractors, and BlueStar Air was by far the best. The technicians were knowledgeable and gave us a reasonable rate. They came on time, were friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond in installing a new A/C and furnace. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and the excellent work that they did. We now have wonderful A/C working again - and our electricity bills are much lower than before as we have a much more efficient unit. I would absolutely recommend this company! He looked at my equipment and since we knew from previous people who repaired our unit that it just wasn't worth putting money into. He was very upfront with that but did give me the information I would need to decide whether to repair the unit again or just replace it. He quoted me a great price. The technician was very helpful and even kept taking his shoes off each time he entered my home. He also didnt try to just sell me the product because he wanted to make sure both my husband and I were in agreement so he offered to speak to my hubby who was away before anything was decided. Thank you for the great service. This company BlueStar Air is the best and most honest I've ever used. They are reliable and very knowledgeable; I have 7 units in different properties plus a gas fireplace that was fixed last year. This year I was surprised the fireplace started without any hassle like other years. Thanks to Danny at BlueStar Air whom takes a lot of pride in his work and explains in detail what is wrong or good with your unit. I have decided to have them do the maintenance service for all my units. I will not hesitate to recommend them to my friends.. One Saturday this past December, my daughter and I woke to a very cold house! After contacting the usual suspects, Michael and Sons, etc., I decided to take a "chance" on BlueStar Air. It was a chance that I'm glad I took! BlueStar Air was very responsive, scheduling a same day appointment!! Matter of fact Danny, was knocking on my door within the hour! My daughter and I were warm and comfortable in no time! The service was outstanding: prompt, thorough and courteous; and the price was fair and didn't leave me feeling like I was taken advantage of. Make BlueStar Air Mechanical your first call!! The compressor for our heat pump failed in late December. We solicited bids from a number of HVAC contractors, and decided on BlueStar Air. While not the lowest price, they were more competitive than most and Mr. Ruiz gave us a very professional and well-documented estimate. Attentive to our specific situation, he gave us four different options and the specifics and costs for each. On the day of the installation, Danny and Kevin were: (1) punctual; (2) courteous; (3) considerate of our home and items that might need covering or moving; (4) hard-working; and (5) left no debris. When all was done, Danny gave a complete review of what was done, what to expect would be different with the new system, along with items for future consideration. I would recommend BlueStar Air Mechanical to anyone needing HVAC service or installation. I got this company's phone number from my colleague after I could not get any HVAC company 's same day service. Technician arrived 45 mins after my call and came twice that afternoon to get my furnace diagnosed /temporarily fixed for 1 visit and also get the genuine Carrier Parts replaced on 2nd visit. It was a very pleasant experience, I got so frustrated by the furnace issue and I did not know whether it was huge or small. This technician is very experienced and found the problem in about 15 mins and explained the problems with me in detail so I know I was not overcharged. In case any future problems for my HVAC, I will definitely give these guys a call. As a female consumer, there are two things that I place great value on: customer service and time efficiency. Often times, being a female in this consumer market it is difficult to find companies, organizations, technicians, etc to understand that these things are critically important in maintaining their business with clients. When Danny from BlueStar Air came to my home to address issues with the furnace and hot water heater, he offered a wealth of expertise, professional and friendly service, and most importantly, he was sensitive to my time. He understood that I had a lot of questions as to why things weren't working, and he answered every single one of them. He explained with an enormous amount of detail and knowledge - very important - how the units work. He works fast and diligently, which shows he takes his work seriously and that he values his clients. He expeditiously fixed both of our issues while providing unbelievably great customer service. He really knows what he's talking about, but you can also tell that he genuinely cares - not giving you the run around like some other people. Prices are fair and reasonable. Definitely recommending to friends, family and everyone I know! It was an awesome experience that my AC and Heater have been fixed perfectly and professionally. And they were done w/ the time they promised. And the excellent customer service I have received has gotten even better each time. BlueStar Air is the best in town. Danny came out in December when my blower motor died on my furnace. First of all, Danny is an excellent person to work with. He is engaging and answers questions in a knowledgeable, friendly manner. He was able to replace my blower motor and give me the confidence that it would work, even with my already old/original unit. My heater was back in business. Then, today, Danny came out for my A/C service. Since I bought this house a few years ago, I didn't know jack about HVAC and the maintenance involved and I hadn't done a thing. I don't even know if it was done in the past. When he left in December, he let me know that it would be a good idea to have this A/C service done, since I wasn't ready to purchase a whole new system. So, based on my previous experience with his service, I trusted his advice and I definitely wanted to do this. Anyway, he cleaned my A/C unit, replace a capacitor, flushed the lines, added some refrigerant, and did a quick check for me. Now, I'm not worried about the summer's heat and I can't wait to see how it performs when it's really needed! All-in-all, this is not your typical HVAC service experience. Danny is really knowledgeable and honest, so the overall experience is excellent. I highly recommend him for any HVAC needs! Awesome HVAC contractor! John B was very helpful and answered all of my painstakingly long questions over the phone, and gave us a great quote as we discussed various other things we needed fixed. The work was done professionally and on time (even ahead of time), they are diligent workers, honest, and will tell you what you need and don't need. We had duct work repaired, dampers installed, new AC, furnace/blower, water heater, expansion tank, piping, to update a 30+ year old system.

The techs showed up on time and were very professional. They did a great job with my furnace and A/C install, removed all the old equipment and left the work area clean and tidy. They also did a good job answering my questions and explaining the operation of the new units. I couldn't be more pleased with Bluestar's service.

This is my family’s (immediate and extended) go to HVAC company. Danny, the owner, truly cares about his business and work and I couldn’t recommend him enough. I just used them to replace my HVAC and water heater and they corrected any issues from the prior owner, making everything to code. Super friendly workers and they know what they’re doing. Great to rely on a great company!
