Lifelong local father and son company that is honest as the day is long. Yes they do great work, but the single best thing about these guys is their honesty. It’s great to know your not being ripped off for a new system when the issue is something smaller. They will fix what can be fixed and only install new equipment when it’s absolutely necessary. Total win/win using this company, and you can recommend them with total confidence they will do a honest and great job. Do yourself a favor and call H&Z Heating for all your HVAC needs!

I've used H&Z Heat and Air LLC for the last decade on multiple properties to include my primary residence. Mike and his team have completed everything from simple cleanings to multiple full HVAC system installations for me. They are always easy to reach, work with, and provide straightforward information regarding the reason for their visit. Their materials last, they go the extra step in installing and cleaning their work area, and they stand behind their finished product. Very professional, responsive and punctual services is what I become accustomed when using H&Z Heating and Air LLC. I used H&Z for years keeping my old system going and then eventually to replace my old unit with a high efficiency unit at a reasonable price. H&Z also replaced my air ducts and made additional recommendations for improving the ventilation issues I was having in my townhouse. I highly recommended H&Z to anyone in the DMV area as I have had nothing but positive experiences.

I have been a customer of H&Z since 2010 and I am very satisfied with their service. I have a maintenance contract with them for spring and fall inspections so I meet with Mike at least twice in a year. Mike does the inspection himself and gives me a detailed report of the health of my HVAC systems as well as recommendations for preventive maintenance. I am not particularly handy around the house so I rely heavily on Mike's expertise. During the last 10+ years, in addition to periodic maintenance, Mike has also changed the both the outdoor AC units, furnaces in the attic and basement and installed 2 smart thermostats. He has also replaced the water boiler which has reached end of life. For all these replacements, because of my consistently positive experience with H&Z, I didn't bother with checking prices or quotes from competitors. I knew I could trust Mike to do a good job at a fair price which he did. One summer when my AC wasn't cooling sufficiently, Mike fixed it and recommended that I hold off with replacing it since it still had some life left in it. I highly recommend H&Z for your HVAC needs. Mike always has the customer's interests first and I really appreciate that about him.

H & Z Heat and A/C LLC has been servicing our home since 2011. When we bought the property, the A/C units and furnaces were on their last legs. They kept them working and serviced for a couple more years. We had three furnaces and three heat pumps. Over the years, H&Z has replaced all of them and was very competitive with pricing. They serviced our units twice a year since 2011. It is a family-owned business and their commitment to detail and quality of service is evident in all they do.They keep all appointments and show up at the time promised.
